Mobile DJ Direct LLC runs mobiledjdirect.com. This page explains what information we collect, why we collect it and what we do with it. The short version is simple. We only collect what we need to answer you and plan your event, and we never sell your information.
What we collect
- Things you tell us. When you check your date, fill out a form or email us, we get what you type in. That usually means your name, email, event date, venue, type of event, guest count and any details you share.
- Things collected automatically. Like most websites, we see basic info about visits. That includes the pages you look at, how long you stay, your device and browser type, your general area (city level, never your exact address) and the site that sent you here.
How we use it
- To tell you if we’re available and send you pricing
- To plan and run your event if you book with us
- To send follow up emails about your inquiry, which you can unsubscribe from anytime
- To see how people use the site so we can make it better
- To keep the site safe from spam and attacks
The tools we use
We use a few trusted services to run the business. They only get what they need to do their job.
- HoneyBook. Our forms and client planning system. Anything you submit through a form on this site goes into HoneyBook. HoneyBook may use a tiny tracking image to record that a form was viewed.
- Google Analytics. Shows us how many people visit and which pages they view. It uses cookies to do that. You can read how Google uses data when you use our partners’ sites or apps, and you can turn it off with the Google Analytics opt out browser add on.
- Flodesk. Sends our follow up emails.
- Cloudflare. Hosts the website, protects it from spam and hides our email address from spam bots.
We do not sell or rent your information to anyone. We only share it with the tools above, or if the law requires us to.
Cookies
Cookies are tiny files a website saves in your browser so it can remember things between visits. We use them for site statistics through Google Analytics. You can block or delete cookies anytime in your browser settings, and the site will still work.
How long we keep it
We keep your information as long as we need it for your event and our business records, like taxes. After that we delete it.
Your choices
You can ask us to show you, fix or delete the information we have about you. Just email justin@mobiledjdirect.com and we’ll take care of it. Every marketing email we send also has an unsubscribe link at the bottom.
Kids
This site is meant for adults planning events. We don’t knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you think a child sent us their info, email us and we’ll delete it.
Changes to this page
If we update this policy, we’ll change the date at the top.
