Do you charge travel for a Chapel Hill or Hillsborough wedding?
No. Chapel Hill, Carrboro and Hillsborough are all well inside the 90 driving miles from Raleigh that every package already covers, so there is no travel fee for any venue there.
Have you played my venue?
We have played The Parlour at Manns Chapel, The Carolina Inn, Ardenwood Farm and Old Lystra Inn in Chapel Hill, plus Carolina Grove and Cates Farm at Cane Creek near Hillsborough. Over in Durham we have played 21c Museum Hotel, Parizade and The Lincoln on Geer. If your venue is new to us, we get there hours before guests to walk the room, set up and sound check.
Our dance floor is outside under string lights. Does that work?
Yes. At The Parlour at Manns Chapel, Madison and Spence danced in the courtyard under string lights. We bring plenty of cable and our own backup power, so the setup can follow the dance floor wherever your venue puts it.
Do we have to pick every song?
No. Jaclyn and Brian picked only a few songs for cocktail hour and the reception and let us read the room, and their guests danced all night. Pick as many or as few as you like in the planning app, plus your must plays and do not plays.
How do you make sure everyone's names are said right?
Every name and how to say it goes into the planning app, and we check them with you again the week of the wedding. Jessica and Bryce called that out in their review.
Who will actually be our DJ?
Justin, Eli or Chris, named right in your contract. Justin plans every wedding with you no matter who is behind the booth, and your DJ joins that final planning meeting so they know your night by heart.
