We wanted a mix of American music and Croatian/Balkan music because half of our guests are originally from that area. Justin took all that into consideration and really listened to what we wanted for our dance floor music. The app he uses made it very easy to input songs we wanted and to plan out our timeline.

Do you charge travel for a Durham wedding?
No. Durham is well inside the 90 driving miles from Raleigh that every package already covers, so there is no travel fee for any Durham venue.
Have you played my Durham venue?
We have played 21c Museum Hotel, Parizade, The Lincoln on Geer, The Cookery and Hope Valley Country Club, plus nearby spots in Chapel Hill and Hillsborough like The Parlour at Manns Chapel, The Carolina Inn and Carolina Grove. If your venue is new to us, we get there hours before guests to walk the room, set up and sound check.
Our reception is outdoors. What if it rains?
Plan for both and pick on the day. At Parizade, Schuyler and Luka had the courtyard as plan A and the indoor club room as plan B. We mapped the setup for each ahead of time with them, so the call on the day was easy.
Can you play music from our families' cultures?
Yes, and we love it. Half of Schuyler and Luka's guests had roots in Croatia, so the night blended American hits with Croatian and Balkan favorites. You build the list in the planning app, and we mix it live so the floor never stalls between styles.
Who will actually be our DJ?
Justin, Eli or Chris, named right in your contract. Justin plans every wedding with you no matter who is behind the booth, and your DJ joins that final planning meeting so they know your night by heart.
